Cheers from Smannell Pub as Council Grants Rates Relief

I’m pleased to report that The Oak, Smannell has been awarded more than £4,000 in rural rate relief as part of Test Valley Borough Council’s commitment to supporting businesses.

We can choose to award the discretionary relief to rural businesses that meet a number of criteria and where there is evidence to show that they are a valuable amenity within the local community. The Oak is certainly that - and so received 100% relief for a three year period.
